New Plugins for Speed, SEO and Functionality

For even more speed, we installed the PHP Speedy for WordPress Plugin . It will minify, compress and add expire headers to the CSS and JavaScript files of your blog.

Also the call for external JavaScript (such as JQuery) files will be moved to the bottom of each page, before the </body> closing tag. This will increase the page rendering time.

Here are the YSlow performance results for GameZone’s Klingon Honour Guard Review with both WP Super Cache and PHP Speedy on:

Performance Grade: A (97)
A 1. Make fewer HTTP requests
A 2. Use a CDN

Using these CDN hostnames from your preferences: nodblog.com
B 3. Add an Expires header

These components do not have a far future Expires or cache-control: max-age header:
