WordPress MU Sitewide Related Posts Plugin

A plugin that links related content from all the blogs on the same Wordpress MU website.

WordPress MU Sitewide Related Posts Plugin (MSRP) is based on Mitcho’s Yet Another Related Posts Plugin (YARPP). It can find related content from all the blogs on the same Multi-User platform.

Download MSRP version 2.0.6 – 16.6 KB. or see it in action

Will only work with WordPress Multi User, versions 2.x up.

Tested with 2.6 – OK
Tested with 2.7 – OK

To install, unzip the downloaded file related-posts-mu.zip, upload the foler related-content-MU to yout server in /wp-content/plugins/, activate the plugin, and you’re set!

Customization options will be available in Settings -> Related Posts (YARPP) (or URL: /wp-admin/options-general.php?page=yet-another-related-posts-plugin/options.php ).

The “Order results”  function has been disabled, related posts can be sorted only by similarity (relevance), descending (the best match first, to the worst match last). This function can be implemented in future versions.

Note: Because this plugin searches all the posts from all the blogs, it may slow down your server. As a rule of thumb, don’t upload this in the mu-plugins folder unless your farm has a few small blogs.

For more information, please go to YARPP’s page.

Hi, just installed your plugin. It looks quite nice, but I do have an issue with it! The 5 selected related post entries have 3 kinds of formats:
    http://ralfengel.com/?p=986 and
    tag:wordpress.ralfengel.com://cc8125bf9b2139fd616d1a8042035bf0 and
    http://ralfengel.com/uncategorized/jewish-moneylenders-2

Only the last one of the tree works. The first one will lead to a “Nothing found” page, and the second one (tag:…) will lead to nothing at all. Clicking on it doesn’t cause anything to happen. Can you have a look on this? Thanks
